General Terms

By accessing and utilizing the services provided by Siel Environmental Services Limited (“Siel Environmental Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. These terms govern your use of our website, services, and any communication between you and Siel Environmental Services, including any event-related landing pages, ticketing pages, checkout pages, payment links, hosted payment pages, ticket confirmation systems, QR codes, barcodes, receipts, invoices, access-control features, and any related services connected to Caribbean Food Waste Summit & Cultural Festival.

By accessing this website, purchasing a ticket, making a payment, registering for event updates, or using any related service, you agree to these Terms of Use as well as the general terms outlined by Siel Environmental Services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase tickets through this platform.

This event is organised, promoted, managed, and/or produced by:

Ticketing, checkout, payment technology, payment links, ticket delivery, order confirmations, hosted payment pages, access-control tools, and related support may be provided by:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sun Tixx is not the event promoter, event manager, artist manager, performer representative, venue operator, security provider, production company, public relations agency, travel provider, accommodation provider, or guarantor of the event experience.

The Promoter is responsible for the event itself, including:

  • Event production;
  • Venue arrangements;
  • Featured talent;
  • Artists;
  • Performers;
  • Speakers;
  • Hosts;
  • DJs;
  • Cultural acts;
  • Technical production;
  • Security;
  • Permits;
  • Licences;
  • Crowd management;
  • Event timing;
  • Event schedule;
  • Venue rules;
  • Access rules;
  • Safety rules;
  • Refund decisions;
  • Postponement decisions;
  • Cancellation decisions;
  • Customer-facing event commitments.

Sun Tixx provides ticketing and payment technology and may assist with transaction processing, ticket delivery, reporting, access-control technology, and customer support related to the purchase process.

Event-Specific Terms

Each event may have its own rules, including:

  • Age restrictions;
  • Identification requirements;
  • Dress code;
  • Prohibited items;
  • Entry cutoff times;
  • Re-entry rules;
  • Seating rules;
  • VIP access rules;
  • Bottle-service or table rules;
  • Parking rules;
  • Venue restrictions;
  • Weather policies;
  • Refund policies;
  • Transfer rules;
  • Filming and photography policies;
  • Artist lineup disclaimers;
  • Health and safety rules.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the event-specific rules displayed on this website, at checkout, in the ticket description, on the ticket confirmation, at the venue, or otherwise communicated by the Promoter.

Ticket Purchases

A ticket purchase is not complete until payment has been authorised, captured, and confirmed.

After a successful purchase, you may receive one or more of the following:

  • Ticket confirmation;
  • QR code;
  • Barcode;
  • Receipt;
  • Invoice;
  • Email confirmation;
  • Payment confirmation;
  • Access instructions;
  • Event updates.

You are responsible for providing accurate name, email address, phone number, billing details, and attendee information.

The Promoter and Sun Tixx are not responsible for lost, delayed, blocked, misdirected, or undelivered confirmations resulting from incorrect customer information, spam filters, mailbox issues, phone issues, or customer error.

Statement Descriptor Notice

Your card or bank statement may show the charge under one or more descriptors, including:

  • Sun Tixx;
  • SunTixx;
  • Sun Tixx Caribbean Limited;
  • The Event name;
  • The Promoter name;
  • The venue name;
  • A shortened or processor-specific version of any of the above.

Sun Tixx may appear on your statement as the payment processor or merchant descriptor even if the event is managed by a third-party promoter.

If you do not recognise a charge, contact the event support team or Sun Tixx before filing a bank dispute.

 Prices, Fees, and Currency

Prices are displayed before checkout. The final amount payable may include:

  • Ticket price;
  • Service fee;
  • Payment processing fee;
  • Platform fee;
  • Taxes;
  • Venue fee;
  • Delivery fee;
  • Add-ons;
  • Promoter charges;
  • Other disclosed charges.

Fees may be non-refundable unless the Promoter expressly decides otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Transactions may be processed in Trinidad and Tobago dollars, United States dollars, or another supported currency. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion charges, international card charges, or other fees. These charges are not controlled by Sun Tixx or the Promoter.

Ticket Delivery and Entry

Tickets may be delivered by email, QR code, barcode, downloadable PDF, mobile display, print-at-home format, box office collection, guest list, wristband exchange, or another method approved by the Promoter.

A ticket grants conditional admission only. Entry may be refused where:

  • The ticket has already been scanned;
  • The ticket is duplicated;
  • The ticket has been refunded, voided, reversed, cancelled, or charged back;
  • The ticket appears fraudulent;
  • The ticket was resold or transferred in breach of event rules;
  • The attendee fails to meet age, ID, dress code, security, or access requirements;
  • The attendee breaches venue rules;
  • The attendee is intoxicated, disruptive, abusive, threatening, or unsafe;
  • Admission would violate law, venue policy, security policy, or Promoter instructions.

The Promoter, venue, security team, lawful authorities, and authorised event staff may refuse entry or remove attendees where necessary.

Featured Talent, Artists, Performers, Hosts, DJs, Speakers, and Lineup Changes

Featured talent, artists, performers, hosts, DJs, speakers, special guests, cultural acts, entertainers, schedules, set times, and advertised appearances are subject to change.

Unless expressly stated by the Promoter in writing, a change, delay, substitution, shortened performance, rescheduling, non-appearance, or removal of featured talent does not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund.

Tickets are generally sold for admission to the event as a whole, not solely for the appearance of any one artist, performer, host, DJ, speaker, or featured person.

Refunds, if any, for featured talent non-appearance, lineup changes, schedule changes, artist substitutions, delayed performances, shortened performances, or similar circumstances are at the discretion of the Promoter unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Sun Tixx is not the manager, booking agent, representative, guarantor, or employer of featured talent and is not responsible for artist non-appearance, performer conduct, performance quality, set length, substitutions, delays, travel issues, or production decisions.

Event Changes, Postponement, Relocation, or Cancellation

The Promoter may change the event date, time, venue, schedule, layout, lineup, programming, access process, production elements, or other event details.

Where an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the new date unless the Promoter states otherwise.

Where an event is relocated, tickets may remain valid for the new venue unless the Promoter states otherwise.

Where an event is cancelled, refund decisions, refund amounts, refund timing, and refund procedures are determined by the Promoter, subject to applicable law and the event-specific refund policy.

Sun Tixx may communicate notices or process approved refunds on behalf of the Promoter but does not independently guarantee refunds unless expressly stated in writing.

Fraud Prevention

The Promoter and Sun Tixx may review transactions for fraud, stolen cards, suspicious activity, duplicate purchases, abnormal order patterns, automated purchasing, unauthorised resale, or other risk indicators.

A transaction may be refused, held, cancelled, refunded, voided, reversed, or subject to verification where fraud or misuse is suspected.

Tickets connected to suspicious or unauthorised transactions may be invalidated without prior notice.

Ticket Resale and Transfer

Tickets may not be resold, duplicated, copied, transferred, advertised, auctioned, commercially exploited, or used for promotions without the Promoter’s written approval.

Tickets purchased from unauthorised third parties may be invalid, duplicated, overpriced, fraudulent, or refused at entry.

The Promoter and Sun Tixx are not responsible for tickets purchased outside authorised sales channels.

Complimentary Tickets, Guest Lists, Promo Codes, and Manual Orders

Complimentary tickets, guest list entries, sponsor allocations, discounted tickets, promotional codes, manual orders, and special access credentials are subject to approval, capacity, verification, and event rules.

Such access may be cancelled or modified where issued in error, duplicated, misused, transferred improperly, or withdrawn by the Promoter.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information;
  • Keep your ticket secure;
  • Not duplicate or misuse tickets;
  • Comply with venue and event rules;
  • Check event updates before attending;
  • Contact support promptly if there is a purchase issue;
  • Not file false disputes;
  • Not engage in fraud or unauthorised resale;
  • Treat staff, attendees, performers, and venue representatives respectfully.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulent payment methods;
  • Attempt to bypass checkout, payment, fraud controls, or ticket validation;
  • Duplicate, counterfeit, alter, or resell tickets without approval;
  • Use bots or automated purchasing tools without permission;
  • Attack, scrape, overload, or interfere with the website or ticketing system;
  • Submit false refund claims or false disputes;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Use the event platform for unlawful activity;
  • Abuse, threaten, harass, or endanger staff, attendees, artists, vendors, or other persons.

Website Availability and Technical Issues

The event website, checkout, ticketing system, payment gateway, email system, SMS system, hosting platform, or third-party services may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or affected by errors.

The Promoter and Sun Tixx are not liable for temporary technical issues caused by third-party providers, internet outages, payment gateway downtime, bank downtime, hosting issues, maintenance, cyber incidents, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Intellectual Property

All event names, logos, images, posters, videos, artist names, sponsor marks, venue marks, and promotional materials belong to their respective owners.

Sun Tixx’s name, logo, platform, checkout technology, ticketing technology, payment technology, workflows, reports, designs, interfaces, and related materials remain the property of Sun Tixx or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, exploit, or use any intellectual property without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Siel Environmental Services shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the materials and services provided on our website. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, profit, business interruption, travel expenses, accommodation expenses, lost time, lost income, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, disappointment, or any other incidental or consequential costs. Users assume all costs associated with servicing, repair, or correction of equipment or data resulting from their use of our services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Siel Environmental Services, the event Promoter, nor Sun Tixx shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to the purchase, use, or inability to use tickets or any related event services.

Sun Tixx’s role is limited to providing ticketing, payment processing, checkout services, access-control technology, reporting, and related support unless expressly stated otherwise. Sun Tixx is not responsible for the organisation, management, delivery, cancellation, postponement, or overall operation of the event, except where expressly agreed in writing.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Sun Tixx’s liability shall be limited to the service fees actually received by Sun Tixx in connection with the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, excluding ticket proceeds, promoter funds, venue charges, taxes, payment processing charges, and any third-party fees.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, Sun Tixx, their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, service providers, processors, agents, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of tickets, fraudulent conduct, unauthorised resale, false dispute, unlawful activity, or violation of event rules.

Force Majeure

The Promoter and Sun Tixx are not responsible for failure, delay, disruption, postponement, cancellation, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, public health measures, strike, labour issues, technical failure, power outage, internet outage, cyberattack, civil unrest, government action, police action, venue closure, artist travel disruption, supplier failure, security risk, bank downtime, payment gateway downtime, or card network disruption.

Privacy

Use of this website and ticketing system is also governed by the Privacy Policy displayed on this website or linked at checkout.

Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this website or made available through the checkout or ticketing page.

Continued use of the website or purchase of tickets after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

Unless otherwise stated in event-specific terms, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

License 

Siel Environmental Services grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website and services strictly in accordance with the terms outlined in this agreement.

Definitions and Key Terms

To ensure clarity throughout this agreement, the following terms are defined:

  • Company: When referred to in this policy, “Company” pertains to Siel Environmental Services Limited, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and assigns.

  • User: Any individual or entity accessing or utilizing the services provided by Siel Environmental Services Limited.

Restrictions

Users agree not to:

  • Modify, reproduce, distribute, transmit, or otherwise exploit the content or services provided by Siel Environmental Services Limited without explicit permission.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or trademarks of Siel Environmental Services Limited.
  • Engage in any activity that may disrupt or interfere with the functionality or security of our website or services.

Your Consent
